Action Required: Security changes from Chase will impact your importers

We have recently been notified that JPMorgan Chase is enhancing the security of account connections by enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to all connected importers. If you have an active importer for Chase, Amazon Credit Card, or Chase Amazon Visa, you will need to re-authenticate and complete any MFA steps to keep your transaction data flowing into your GoDaddy Bookkeeping account.

These changes begin March 15, 2021, and will be rolled out to all Chase customers through April 30, 2021. 

 

Whilst not yet official, enabling "Extra security" through Chase may push this requirement and allow you to connect. To do this, please log into your Chase account and go to "Chase >> Security & privacy >> Add extra security >> Extra Security at sign-in" and follow the prompts to complete the process. Please contact Chase if you have any issues enabling "Account Safe." 

 

If enabling "Extra security" does not work for you, you would need to wait for Chase. Please make sure your contact information is up to date with Chase and monitor for communications for the next steps. We would also recommend logging into Chase directly and monitoring any messages through your online portal. We do not know the exact timing of this change for individual customers, and our recommendation is to monitor your Chase accounts and refresh them when needed.

 

Regrettably, updates will only continue once Chase notifies you of the MFA requirements and said requirements are completed through Chase.
