If I import an CSV, do I still need a bank account under "My Accounts" for those transactions?

The simple answer is no. “My Accounts” is only for accounts that will be automatically importing into GoDaddy Bookkeeping, and you cannot set up a manual account there. (If you want to be able to associate transactions with an account, try uploading your information via QFX.

 

 

If you'd like to note where a transaction has originated from, you can add it to the description column of your CSV

Once you import the information,you will see the transactions in their respective income and expense ledgers, as well as being listed in the "Other Transactions" list where all manually entered transactions live.
